TORRAS launched the IceMag, a MagSafe wireless charger, supporting 15W and Apple 7.5W wireless charging. The charger is designed with 1.5m braided cable to enhance the product’s durability and USB-C interface to be compatible with portable power banks and chargers.

The wireless charging board is designed in disc shape, with the top surface covered by a thin and lightweight white plastic plate for better adherence to the phone. It features an anti-bending cable-to-body joint, and an integrated aluminum alloy shell on the side and back to reduce weight and increase hardness, so as to realize good protection and magnetic charging experience.

According to Chongdiantou, the internal charging solution of the charger is designed by Yuan yanxin using MT5805, a single-chip wireless charging solution launched by Maxic. Upon disassembly, it is evident that single MT5805 enables the implementation of all functions of a wireless charger, significantly simplifying the design. 

MT5805 is a single-chip solution, integrates 32-bit M0 processor, 32KB MTP, and 4KB SRAM. It complies with WPC Qi 1.3 specifications, supports proprietary wireless charging protocols, and allows for functionality customization. The chip supports 15W output, 4V~20V input, and integrates fast charging capabilities. It is compatible with UFCS, PD3.0, QC, FCP, and SCP protocols. MT5805 is designed for single-chip wireless charger applications, supports ultra-low power operating modes.

MT5805 features over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage and over-temperature protections. It also supports dynamic power limitation and dynamic power reduction output. The chip is packaged in FCQFN3*4-24L, suitable for wireless charging transmitters in smartphones and wearable devices, as well as in medical equipment, household appliances, and industrial devices.
